Since 2018, the RCR Double Bass Camp has brought together double bass players from around the world each summer, united by a shared desire: to improve, share, and enjoy a unique musical experience in a warm and inspiring environment.

Individual and group lessons, masterclasses, lectures, and concerts by leading musicians are offered in a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional setting.

The history of RCR
Created in 2018 by Bernard Salles, this workshop of the Rencontres de la Contrebasse en Roussillon, perpetuates the philosophy of the workshops of Prades (1983-85) initiated by Gérard Massat, and that of Capbreton (1990-2014), created with the luthier Christian Nogaro.
Since its creation, the workshop has championed the same vision: to transmit knowledge with high standards, kindness and conviviality, in a spirit of sharing between generations and musical horizons.
